At the end of the last year, the new international GOST 35087 standard for hot-rolled I-beam came into force. It replaced the GOST R 57837–2017 standard, which was limited to the Russian jurisdiction. This creates additional opportunities for supplying Russian steel structures to EAEU countries and will allow Russian steel structure manufacturers to ramp up production volumes, according to Dmitry Pukhnarevich, Head of Project Sales Directorate at EVRAZ STEEL.
